St. Margaret’s

“To receive God’s love in Christ and to share it with all”

St Margaret's Church is the Parish church for the town of Whitnash.

We are a family-friendly church with a variety of services each week - morning and evening on a Sunday and a service of Holy Communion on Thursday mornings - as well as mid-week home-groups.  Some services have music led by the organ and choir whilst at others we have a music group.  The 10am Sunday service has a Sunday School and creche.

The beautiful church was founded in Saxon times.  The sandstone tower dates from the late 15th Century whilst the remainder of the building has been developed and adapted through the years to meet the evolving needs of an active worshipping church.  The chancel, south aisle and nave were rebuilt by Sir George Gilbert Scott between 1855 and 1880.  The photo above shows the north aisle extension dedicated together with the Chapter House by the Bishop of Coventry in 1989.

The building is Grade II listed.

St. Margaret's is open every day, you are welcome to come in to pray or just enjoy the stillness.
